2-28: MAGNUS CATTUS: The Surreal Cat Art of Matt McCarthy

Matt McCarthy’s cat creations have gone viral on social media, and now they’ll be on display in the main gallery of the Cary Arts Center in Cary, North Carolina. Matt is best known for using domestic cats as his primary subject matter, and his artwork digitally combines found images into surreal scenes, where oversized house cats roam the landscape, stalk cities and cozy up to notable landmarks. The exhibit will feature 20+ prints of Matt’s giant cat pieces. Learn more at
