Meowfest was back and in person for the first time since 2019! Over 3,000 cat-lovers attended the event at the Rocky Mountaineer Station in downtown Vancouver, BC. The Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) showcased 20 adoptable kittens for same-day adoptions and they all found homes! The Adoptable Kitten Corner was a very popular booth with lots of attendees getting to meet and play with the kittens and talk to representatives from LAPS.
There were also Instagram famous cats in attendance! BenBen, Bing Clawsby and Paw McCartney of @catsofinstagram, Fomo the British Shorthair, and BamBam the Hairless Munchkin were all at the event for meet and greets with devoted fans. Shelly Roche and her TinyKittens team were also there to talk about the work that they do, share a TinyKitten livestream, and raise awareness around feral cat rescue.

With tons of fun cat-themed booths, food and drinks trucks, speeches, a cat costume contest, a scavenger hunt, a speed dating event, and an adventure cat meetup; there was truly something for every cat person to enjoy!
