1. Head Bumping

Cats have pheromones in their cheek areas that mark them as part of the family.
But don’t worry if your cat doesn’t headbutt—there are lots of other ways to show affection, too!
2. Cats sit on anything you’re reading
Cats love to walk over or sit on any object that you happen to be looking at – whether it’s a book, laptop, or newspaper.
Cats are highly attuned to their environment through scent, so they tend to be drawn in by items that smell like their owners.
Another reason why cats like to sit on your things is that it’s warm after you’ve used them for a while, or maybe they’re figuring out that this is a good way to get your attention—cats can be very clever!
3. Cats hate closed doors
If you have ever closed a door behind your cat, you probably know that a closed room is something that cats hate.
Cats may be interested in closed doors because they want to know what is happening on the other side, especially if something like a scent or noise has caught their attention.
Pawing at a closed door often indicates that your pet wants to be let inside.
And keep in mind: some cats don’t like closed doors because of their territorial nature!
Cats may view your house as an extension of their territory and feel threatened when they are unable to roam freely throughout it.
4. Kneading
Kittens press on their mother’s tummy to help with milk flow.
Over time, the behavior may have become associated with pleasure and comfort in adult cats—so much so that they do kneading when happy.
Kneading shouldn’t be a problem unless your cat’s claws are digging into your thighs.
In this case, it might be time to get out the nail clippers and safely trim them down.
5. Knocking Things Over
It may be startling and frustrating when your cat knocks over a book or frame, but this is normal behavior for them.
Cats have sensitive paws and like to swat things around—like their prey.
They will also knock down items in order to get our attention.
It is best to ignore your cat if you see them doing this, or else they might think the behavior is rewarded.
You should also put valuable or breakable objects out of the paw’s reach.
So there you have it, five odds behavior from your cat.
